Elevate: Coring Glass Beads with Sterling Silver Tubing and Handcrafted Caps workshop

Elevate your glass beads with metal! Elevate – Coring Glass Beads with Sterling Silver Tubing and Handcrafted Caps is the first of the Metal for Lampworkers series where Hayley shares how she takes her beads to a new level by coring them in sterling silver tubing with metal bead caps. Utilizing many of your existing tools and equipment – as well as common household items – Hayley takes you on this endeavor step by step using four different coring tools with additional lessons on texturing metal, creating the caps (from simple to more complicated), adding patina, and finishing tips. This course concentrates on beads made on 3/16" / 5mm mandrels (but may be adapted for other sizes). Elevate is an on-demand virtual class without live session or support.
